Privacy

What stays on your Mac

Your agents report to Orbs on your own Mac, over a local connection only Orbs can use: each session's status, your prompt, the names of files it changed, the commands it ran and its last message. Orbs keeps this on your Mac and never sends it anywhere.

What reaches us

• To check your key: the key, a one-way hash of your Mac's hardware id (so a key works on two Macs), and your Mac's name, so you can tell your Macs apart.
• When you buy: Whop, who handles payments, tells us your membership, its plan and status, and the email you paid with. We use the email only to help you with your purchase.

We don't use analytics or ad trackers in the app. We don't sell or share your data. Card details go to Whop and never reach us.

Your AI plans

Orbs runs no model of its own. Claude Code and Codex keep talking to Anthropic and OpenAI under your own accounts, as they do without Orbs.

Removing your data

Disconnect in Orbs puts your agent settings back as they were. Deleting the app and the ~/.orbs folder removes everything on your Mac. To have your purchase record removed, ask us through support below.

Terms

By using Orbs you agree to these terms.

• Orbs Lifetime is a single payment through Whop for Orbs and its updates for as long as we make Orbs. The price rises by $50 each time a round of seats sells out; what you paid never changes. One key works on two Macs.
• A key works on two Macs at a time. Don't share or resell it.
• Orbs sends your words to your agents when you ask it to. You are responsible for what your agents do, including commands you allow from Orbs.
• Refunds are handled through Whop. If something isn't working, write to us first; we'll make it right.
• Orbs is provided as is, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last twelve months.
• We may update these terms; we'll change the date at the top when we do.

For anything about a payment, a key or a refund, sign in at whop.com, open Orbs in your purchases and message us there. Include your key (it starts with mem_).
